Maharishi Diabetes & Foot Care Centre

You can find us on the second floor of Balaji Height, which is at 202, Geeta Bhawan Chouraha in Indore. We are right there at the busy intersection, near Alankar Point. Maharishi Diabetes & Foot Care Centre is a specialized kind of place. We don’t do general medicine; we mostly look after people who are struggling with their sugar levels and the problems it causes for their feet. It is an important job because a small wound can become a big problem for someone with diabetes. The clinic is usually quiet compared to the noise of the traffic down at Geeta Bhawan Chouraha. We have a few rooms for checkups and some equipment for testing. Most of our patients are older folks who have been coming to see us for years. The elevator in the building can be a little slow sometimes, so we tell people to give themselves a few extra minutes to get up to the second floor. It is not a huge hospital, just a focused clinic where we take our time with each person. We spend a lot of time explaining how to wear the right shoes and how to check for cuts. It is a practical, serious place, but we try to be friendly because we know how stressful health issues can be. We have been at this Indore location for a long time and just keep doing our work.
