Our workplace is tucked away at Plot No.23 in Anand Extension. It’s situated near Nemawar Road, which is always humming with trucks and people moving about. We’ve been operating from this location for some time, and most people around here know us by now. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have fancy glass doors or air conditioning in every room. Usually, the windows are left open to let some air in while we work. The space is mostly filled with the stuff we make and the raw materials we need. It can get a bit messy during the peak hours when everyone is busy, but we try to keep things organized enough so we can find what we need. The staff here are mostly local folks who live just a few streets away, so it feels like a neighborhood group more than a strict company. We start early, usually before the sun gets too hot, and we take our breaks together in the small shaded area outside. It’s not the kind of place you see in a magazine. There are stacks of boxes in the corners and old ledgers on the tables. We like it this way because it’s real and it works for what we do. The road outside can get quite dusty, but that’s just life in this part of the city. We’re just here doing our bit every day, making sure things get done without making too much of a fuss about it. We close up when the work is finished.
