Maa Memorial Hospital

Maa Memorial Hospital is situated right on BTI Road. This road is one of the main ways people get around this part of town, so we are easy to find if you are walking or driving along that way. The hospital building sits back a little bit from the main road. We have a front entrance that leads right into a waiting area that has definitely seen a lot of use over the years. The chairs don't all match and the ceiling fans have a bit of a wobble to them, but they do the job of keeping the air moving. We spend a lot of our time walking up and down the halls, checking on things and making sure everything is in its right place. It is a busy life on BTI Road, and the hospital is usually just as busy. There is almost always someone coming in or going out at all hours of the day. The rooms are very basic, with just the beds and the equipment we need to do our work. We don't bother with any fancy decorations or big signs. Most of our time is just spent talking to the families and keeping all the medical records in order. It can get a bit crowded when it’s raining outside and everyone is trying to stay dry in the doorway, but we just keep going. It is a plain, hardworking place that fits in with the rest of BTI Road.
