M. Kanti Lal & Co.

We've been over here at No. 88 Taradevi Road for quite a while now. Siyaganj is a busy spot, especially being so close to the girls school, but we managed to make it work. Most people know us as M. Kanti Lal & Co. It's just a regular place where we handle our daily business. We started out small and things just kept going from there. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a solid building where we keep things organized. You’ll find us there most days of the week. Sometimes the traffic on Taradevi Road gets a bit much, but that's just how it is in this part of town. We mostly deal with the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so we know most faces that walk through the door. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just find us or hear about us from their neighbors. It's a simple setup. We have shelves full of stock and a small desk where we handle the paperwork. It gets dusty sometimes, and the fan makes a bit of noise, but it's home to us. If you're walking past the school, we're just right there. We try to keep things straightforward and honest without making a big fuss about what we do every day. It's just work. We like it that way and we plan to stay around.
