S. V Iron Traders

We are located at 34 Maulana Azad Marg. This area is called Loharpatti, and it is full of shops like ours. S. V Iron Traders is where we sell iron and steel materials. The shop is basically a large open area with a lot of heavy metal stacked up. It is a very loud place because of the cutting and the trucks loading up outside. Maulana Azad Marg is a narrow street and it gets very crowded with people and goods. Our walls are dark with dust and iron filings, which is just part of the business. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. Most of our customers are builders or workshop owners who know exactly what they need. We spend the day measuring out lengths of iron and helping to load them onto carts or trucks. It is hard work and it makes your muscles ache by the end of the week. We’ve been at 34 Maulana Azad Marg for a long time now. The neighborhood hasn't changed much over the years. We have a small corner where we sit to do the accounts and have our tea. It is a very straightforward way to live. We buy the iron, we keep it here, and we sell it to whoever needs it for their project. There is no need for fancy talk when you are dealing with iron. It is heavy, it is dirty, and it is what we do every single day.
