Light Mart

We are located at number 27 in Poddar Plaza. If you know New Siyaganj in Indore, you know how crowded and hectic it gets during the day. It’s one of those places where you really have to watch where you’re going because of all the handcarts and people rushing around. Our shop, Light Mart, is right in the middle of that buzz. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling packed with all sorts of lighting stuff. It’s not the most organized looking place if you’re used to those big modern malls, but we have our own system for finding things. Usually, one of us is standing near the entrance to help whoever walks in, while someone else is in the back checking the boxes. The air in the plaza can get a bit stuffy, so we usually have a small fan running at the desk. We get a mix of regulars who have been buying from us for years and new people who just happened to see our sign while walking through the market. We don't really do much advertising because word of mouth in Indore works better than anything else anyway. We just try to keep enough stock so people don't leave empty-handed. It’s a small operation, and at the end of the day, we just pull down the shutters, lock up, and head home like everyone else in Siyaganj. It’s busy and loud, but we wouldn’t really know what to do with ourselves in a quiet office.
