Lic India

This is the Lic India office over here in Gandhinagar. It is a pretty straightforward place to work. We have desks piled with papers and folders that seem to never end. Most of the morning is spent checking through files and talking to folks who walk in through the front door. It’s usually quiet, except for the sound of the ceiling fans and people talking quietly at the counters. We’ve been in this part of Gandhinagar for quite some time now. People know where to find us. It’s not a flashy building or anything like that. Just a regular office where we handle the day-to-day tasks. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the records. Some days are busier than others, especially when there is a lot of paperwork to sort out by the end of the month. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the stacks of paper get a bit high. It’s a steady kind of job. You see the same faces coming in to check on things or ask questions. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars and a few notices pinned up. We stay busy with the routine. That is how it goes here. Just a group of us working through the files and making sure everything is in the right place before we head home for the evening.
