Leather Lots

Leather Lots is situated at 26, Classic Poornima Park, right by the Bombay Hospital Circle. This area is always full of people because of the hospital, so there is a lot of movement outside our windows. We work with a lot of leather goods, so the first thing you notice when you walk in is that specific smell. It’s a deep, earthy scent that lingers on your clothes. Our space is filled with rolls of material and finished pieces waiting to be sent out. We have a large cutting table in the middle of the room that sees a lot of use. The lighting isn’t the best, so we have some extra lamps clamped onto the shelves. It’s a very practical workspace. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see something, we just pull it out from the stacks. The circle outside can be a nightmare for parking, so we usually see our delivery guys struggling to find a spot. We’ve been in Poornima Park for a few years now. The office is a bit messy with scraps and thread, but that’s just part of the job. We have a small crew and we all pitch in with the cleaning and the heavy lifting. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just handle leather and try to keep everything running smoothly.
