Laksh General Store

Laksh General Store is located at 92 Jay Jagat, right on Annapurna Road here in Indore. Being on Annapurna Road means there is always something going on outside our door. Indore is known for its food and its busy streets, and our little corner is no different. We spend our days surrounded by the smell of the city and the items we sell to the neighbors. It’s a general store, so we have a bit of everything, from snacks to cleaning supplies. We don't have any corporate training or a manual on how to run a business. We just learned by doing it every day for years. The shop isn't perfectly tidy, and sometimes we have boxes stacked in the corners because a delivery just arrived. We like the busy atmosphere of Jay Jagat. People stop in while they are out doing their other errands. We keep a simple routine of opening up, cleaning the counter, and checking what needs to be restocked. Sometimes we are too busy to talk and other times we have all the time in the world to chat with whoever walks in. It’s a practical life. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Indore. We are just a local shop where you can get what you need without a fuss. We appreciate the neighbors who come in regularly and keep us going. That’s really all there is to it. We just keep the door open and wait.
