Krishi Vikash Kendra

We are set up right in the middle of the action at No. 111 in the Nandlapura Sabji Mandi. Being in a vegetable market means things start very early for us at Krishi Vikash Kendra. You can hear the trucks coming in and the shouting of the sellers long before most people are even awake. It is a dusty area and it can get quite loud, but we are used to it by now. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It has got some stacks of papers and some samples sitting on the shelves. We mostly talk to farmers and local sellers who are passing through the market. They stop by to ask questions or just to see what is new. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. It's just a few of us sitting here trying to be helpful where we can. The address is easy to find if you know the mandi, though the traffic can be a nightmare during the peak morning hours. We've been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us. We don't make big promises about changing the world; we just do our daily work related to the agricultural stuff people need. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait it out. It is a real, working environment with no polish, just the way things are in Nandlapura. We usually close up when the market slows down in the evening.
