Kirana Shop

Running a shop on 60 Feet Road in Sudama Nagar is a lot of work, but it keeps us busy. We are at number 23, right near Pooja Hospital. Because the hospital is so close, we get all sorts of people coming in. Some are just looking for a bottle of water or a snack while they wait for news, and others are locals getting their weekly supplies. It’s a Kirana shop, so it’s full of bags of rice, lentils, and all the little things people need for their kitchens. It gets a bit crowded sometimes with all the stock arriving. We don't have a fancy layout; we just stack things where they fit and where we can find them quickly. It's a bit dusty because of the road traffic in Indore, but we try to keep it clean. My family has been doing this for a while, and we know most of the people who walk through the door by name. We don't have a website or any big slogans. We just sell what people need at a fair price. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery truck, but that’s just how it is. We start early in the morning and don't close until late. It's a simple life, mostly just weighing out sugar and chatting about the neighborhood news. We are glad to be here helping the community.
