Sind Plastic Centre

Sind Plastic Centre is over at No. 16 Khatipura. If you walk by, you’ll see stacks of plastic chairs and buckets piled up right to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We have almost everything you can think of made of plastic. Boxes, tubs, stools, and even those little spice containers for kitchens. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of space we have. Khatipura is a good neighborhood for us because people are always looking for household items. We spend the day helping customers find the right color or size they need. It gets a bit dusty because of the street, but we try to keep things tidy. We don’t do any fancy marketing. People just know we are here at number sixteen. The delivery trucks come by in the mornings, and we have to move fast to get everything inside before the traffic gets too bad. It’s a lot of lifting and carrying. By the end of the day, our arms are usually pretty tired. We’ve been running this shop for a long time. We know all the regular faces who stop by. It’s just a simple, local business. We open early and stay until the evening. It’s what we do, and it works for us. We just keep stacking the buckets and waiting for the next person to walk in. It's a living.
