Navya Sanitary House

We’ve been here at Alok Nagar on Kanadia Road for a good while now, right across from Karnataka School. If you walk in, you’ll mostly see stacks of pipes and different kinds of bathroom fittings scattered around. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights or anything like that. Just a regular shop where we keep things that people actually need for their homes. Most days start with sweeping the front because the road dust just settles on everything. Sometimes the noise from the school across the street gets pretty loud during recess, but we’re used to it by now. We spend a lot of time moving heavy boxes of tiles or checking if the faucets are in stock. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the metal and ceramic stuff. When people come in, they usually have a leak to fix or they’re trying to finish a bathroom. We just show them what’s in the back or what’s on the shelves. Sometimes we sit out front on plastic chairs when it’s quiet and just watch the traffic go by on Kanadia Road. It isn't a big operation, just a few of us making sure we have the right parts when someone needs a specific valve or a new sink. We don't really do much advertising, mostly people just see the sign when they're passing the school and stop in to see what we have.
