K. K. Stones

We operate K. K. Stones from B-71 at Goyal Terrace. It’s over in the Bodakdev area, not too far from the Judges Bungalows in Vastrapur. If you know the neighborhood, it’s a pretty decent spot to be. We deal with stones and tiles and that kind of thing all day. It’s heavy work, honestly, and it can be hard on the back. Our clothes usually have a bit of white dust on them by the end of the shift. The office at Goyal Terrace is where we handle the paperwork, but most of the action happens with the materials themselves outside. We’ve been around this part of Vastrapur for a while now. We know the other shop owners nearby and we say hello in the mornings. We don’t spend much time on fancy marketing or anything like that. People usually find us because they need stone for a project and they heard we were here from a neighbor. It’s a straightforward business. We show the samples, talk about the sizes, and try to get the deliveries sorted out on time. Sometimes the trucks are late or the weather is bad, which can be annoying, but we do our best to deal with it. It’s just us working with what the earth gives us. Nothing too complicated about it at all. We’re just regular people trying to run a stone yard and make it work for everyone involved.
