K. G. N. Fabrics

K. G. N. Fabrics is located at No. 47/5 in Sanvid Nagar. This area is full of narrow streets and small shops, so it can be a bit tricky to find us if you aren't looking closely. We have been here for a long time, and the shop is packed with rolls of material from floor to ceiling. It smells like old cotton and dust in here, which is just the way we like it. We spend most of our time measuring out lengths and chatting with the regulars who stop by. The light in Sanvid Nagar can be a bit dim in the afternoons, so we have a few extra lamps scattered around. We don't have a computer system or anything like that; we just write everything down in a big ledger we keep on the counter. It works well enough for us. The stairs to the back storage are a bit steep, so we have to be careful when we're carrying heavy loads. Sometimes we sit on the stools out front when the shop is quiet and watch people go about their day. We've seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We aren't interested in being the biggest shop around. We just like doing what we do and staying here in Sanvid Nagar. It’s a lot of work but it feels right to stay in one place for so long.
