We have been here at Scheme No. 54 in Vijay Nagar for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Indore. Most people just know us as Jyoti Hospital. The building is right there on the ground floor at GF-19. It’s not a fancy place but we try to keep things moving. Dealing with a lot of different cases keeps us on our toes every single day. The doctors and the nurses stay quite busy. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit crowded especially in the mornings when everyone wants to be seen first. We see families from all over the neighborhood. Living and working in Indore, you get used to the pace. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the medicine stocks are okay. We don't really do the big advertising stuff. People mostly find us because they live nearby or someone told them to come here. It’s a multi-specialty setup so we have various departments. The staff knows most of the regular faces by name. It is just how it goes in a local hospital. We manage the machines, the beds, and all the clinical work as best as we can. It’s hard work and the shifts are long but that’s the medical field for you. We just keep the doors open and do the job that needs doing today. There is always someone checking the files or cleaning the floors. We just get on with things without making a big fuss about it.
