Jawahar Udyog

We are over at Plot No-39 in Sajan Nagar, which isn't the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it. Jawahar Udyog has been operating out of this spot for a while. It’s a busy little corner of the world. Most mornings start with a cup of tea while we wait for the shutters to go up. The space is filled with equipment and there isn't much room to walk around once we get going. We do a bit of everything here when it comes to manufacturing and small-scale production. It is mostly local workers from the neighborhood who come in every day. We know each other well, which makes the long hours go by a bit faster. Sajan Nagar is a loud place, full of different workshops and small trucks moving in and out. Sometimes the traffic gets backed up right in front of our gate and we have to go out and help move things along. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We just want to make parts that work and keep our customers happy so they come back next time. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we’ve got buckets for that. It's a simple life, working with your hands and making sure the quality is decent enough for the people who rely on us. I think that is what matters more than having a polished office or fancy brochures.
