Indian Shoe Exporters

Our office is at No. 234- D inside the Trade Center. It’s a big building with a lot of different businesses, so it can get pretty loud during the day. Indian Shoe Exporters has been here for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. We mostly deal with moving shoes from one place to another. You’ll see boxes stacked up in the corners of the room almost all the time. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space for everything, but we make it work. The elevators in the Trade Center are sometimes slow, which can be annoying when we’re in a hurry. We don't really do anything fancy here. It’s just desks, phones, and a lot of paperwork about shipments. Most of us have been working together for years, so we know how to stay out of each other's way. It's a decent spot to be based in. We get a lot of sun through the window in the afternoon, which makes the office pretty warm. We usually just prop the door open to get some air moving. It’s not the quietest environment, but it feels like work is actually happening. We just come in, do what needs to be done with the orders, and head home. There isn't much more to it than that. We just try to stay busy and keep the shoes moving out the door.
