Impulse Tutorials

We've been here at Takshshila Parisar in Rajendra Nagar for a while now. It’s just a normal spot in Indore where kids come after school. The traffic outside can get a bit loud sometimes, but inside we just focus on the books. Impulse Tutorials isn't some big fancy building with glass walls. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and some whiteboards that we’ve used so much they have those faint grey marks that won't go away. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are. We started out with just a few students and it grew because people talked to their neighbors. Sometimes parents stop by just to chat about how their kids are doing or to complain about the heat. It’s a busy place, especially around exam time when everyone is a bit stressed. We keep extra pens and paper around because someone always forgets theirs. The air conditioner works mostly, though it makes a weird humming sound if it’s on for too long. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the subjects well enough to explain them. It’s not about being the flashiest place in Indore. It’s just about getting the work done every afternoon. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the next batch of students to arrive. That’s pretty much how it goes here every day of the week. We like it that way, even if the stairs are a bit dusty sometimes.
