You can find H.D. Wires Pvt. Ltd. over at 17/20 Sanwer Road. We are in Sector-E of the Industrial Area, which is exactly where you’d expect a wire factory to be. It’s dusty and loud most of the time because of all the heavy machinery running in the neighboring units. We’ve been here for a good while, manufacturing different types of wires. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoons and it gets pretty hot inside, but that’s just part of the job. We have a team that knows exactly how to handle the drawing and coating processes. It’s repetitive work, but it requires a lot of attention so nothing goes wrong. We get trucks coming in and out all day long, navigating the narrow roads of the industrial estate. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all have to take a break until the backup kicks in. It’s a practical environment. We don't have a reception area with a coffee machine; we just have a small office where we keep the logs. Most of us have greasy hands by lunchtime. We focus on just getting the orders out on time. The Sanwer Road area is busy, and we’re just one of the many shops trying to keep production moving. It's tough work but it's what we do every day to keep things running for our clients.
