Gupta Dental Clinic & Ayurvedic Center

Being over here at 59-B Sudama Nagar keeps us pretty busy. We are right on Dayal Guru Marg, so people find us easily enough, especially since we’re near the Bank of Maharashtra and right across from Pandit Optical on Annapurna Road. It’s a good spot. We do things a bit differently here because we have the dental side and the Ayurvedic center together. It wasn't always like that, but it seemed to make sense for the people coming in. The clinic isn't very big, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space. Most mornings start with the smell of some of the oils from the Ayurvedic side mixing with the usual clinical smell. It’s a funny mix but you get used to it. The traffic on Annapurna Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but inside it stays relatively quiet. We see a lot of folks from the colony. Some come for a toothache and end up asking about herbal stuff too. We don't do much advertising; mostly people just see the sign when they're going to the bank or getting their glasses fixed across the street. We try to keep the chairs comfortable because nobody likes sitting in a dentist's office for too long. It’s just me and a couple of helpers keeping the place running every day. We’ve been in Sudama Nagar long enough that we know most of the stories of the people who walk through that door.
