Glocity Unisex Salon & Spa Because Beauty Matters

Our place is at Ug/1 Rounak Tower in Indore. We’re pretty close to the Anand Bazar Square. The name on the sign is long, Glocity Unisex Salon & Spa Because Beauty Matters, but most people just call us Glocity. It’s a busy intersection nearby, so there’s always the sound of horns and engines. Inside, we try to keep things a bit more grounded. The floor is a dark stone that hides the dirt well, though we still mop it twice a day. We have a mix of men and women coming in, which keeps the conversation interesting. Some days it’s all about haircuts, other days it’s more about the spa side of things. We have separate sections for different services. The lighting is a bit dim in the back where the spa rooms are. We don't have a lot of decorations, just a few plants that we try to keep alive despite the lack of sun. We use a lot of towels, so the laundry is a never-ending task. One of us is usually folding something in the break room. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to be the trendiest spot in town; we just want to be a reliable place for the neighborhood. People appreciate that we’re consistent. We open on time, we do what we need to do, and we close up when the sun goes down. It's a simple routine, but it works for us and the people who visit.
