Gita Bhawan Hospital

Gita Bhawan Hospital is situated in the Manorama Ganj area, and most people around here just use the Gita Gon Temple as a landmark to find us. We are very close to the temple, so you can often hear the bells or the general activity from there during the day. The building has been around for quite a while and it looks it. It’s not one of those new, shiny steel buildings you see in the city. Inside, it smells like antiseptic and floor cleaner, which is pretty standard for any hospital. We have several wards and the rooms are quite simple with metal bed frames and basic bedside tables. The staff works in shifts, so there’s always someone at the main desk, even late at night when the rest of Manorama Ganj is quiet. The parking area outside is a bit small and can get crowded on busy days, especially when there's something going on at the temple. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the patients who come in. Most of the people who work here have been with us for years and they know the routine inside and out. It's a busy, practical place where we try to keep things organized. The hallways are long and have that yellow-ish light that makes everything feel a bit old-fashioned, but it works for what we need to do.
