Enking International Foundation

You can find Enking International Foundation at Flat 101, which is also on Plot 48 in Scheme 78, Part-II in Indore. It’s a bit funny being in a flat because it feels more like a home than an office. We have to walk up the stairs since the building is small, but it’s good exercise. The rooms are filled with folders and some old computers we’ve had for a few years. It gets pretty bright in the mornings because the windows face the sunrise. We usually keep the curtains half-drawn so we can see our screens. Being in Indore means the weather is mostly predictable, though it gets very hot in May. We have a small balcony where we keep a few potted plants, but they struggle a bit in the heat if we forget to water them. Most of our day is spent typing away or talking to people who come by. We don’t have a formal dress code, so you’ll see us in whatever was clean that morning. It’s a relaxed environment, but we stay busy. We’ve got a rhythm here, and even though it’s just a flat, it works for what we need. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are running in the hallway, which adds to the noise, but we don't mind. It’s just part of being in a residential block. We’re just regular people doing our work and drinking too much tea.
