Dream Bakes

Our bakery, Dream Bakes, is over at 13 Swapnalok Colony in the Southtukoganj area, near Nath Mandir. It's a quiet little spot compared to the main roads, which we actually prefer. We spend our days making cakes, biscuits, and whatever else people ask for. It’s a small family setup, so there’s usually someone from the house working the counter or helping in the kitchen. We don't use any big industrial machines; most of what we do is small batches. This means we’re always busy with something, whether it's icing a birthday cake or checking the biscuits in the oven. The kitchen is the heart of the place and it's always a bit of a mess with mixing bowls and trays. We’ve been here in Tukoganj for a bit and we know most of our neighbors. They come in for a chat as much as they do for the sweets. It’s not a corporate bakery with everything wrapped in plastic. We put things out as they come out of the oven. Sometimes we run out of things early, but that's just how it goes when you’re small. We just try to keep things simple and make sure everything tastes like it was made at home. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, but we enjoy seeing people happy with what we’ve made. Near the temple, it’s a nice place to be, and we plan to stay here for a while.
