Codim Foundation

We’ve been over here at House No. 150-J in Scheme No 71 for a while now. Sector C is a busy spot, but it feels like home to us. Our group, the Codim Foundation, started because we saw a few things in the neighborhood that needed fixing. It wasn't anything fancy, just neighbors helping out. Some days are slow, while others we are running around trying to get things organized. It's mostly just a few of us sitting around a wooden table trying to figure out the next step. We don't have a big office or anything, just this house. People drop by sometimes to ask about what we're doing. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with paperwork and local stuff takes time, but we manage. It gets noisy outside sometimes with all the traffic, but inside we just focus on the work. We've got some old desks and a couple of computers that work when they want to. It’s not a big corporate setup. We just want to do our part in this corner of the city. Most of the folks around here know where we are. If the gate is open, someone is usually there. We don't really do big speeches or anything like that. We just show up and do what needs doing. It's been a learning process for all of us. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we just try again the next day. That's how it goes here in Sector C. We’re just happy to be here and doing this little bit for everyone.
