Chinmay Tourist Services

If you go to the Navlakha Bus Stand, you’ll find us at Shop Number 14. Chinmay Tourist Services has been right here at the stand for quite some time. It's a very loud place to work, with the buses constantly coming in and out and the drivers shouting, but it’s where the people are. We mostly help folks who are just arriving in Indore or trying to find a way to the next city. It’s a small shop, mostly just a counter and some chairs. I spend most of my time explaining the different bus timings and which routes are currently open for travel. We don't have a fancy polished way of talking to people. It’s just practical info for travelers who are usually in a bit of a hurry. Sometimes I’m here late because a bus is delayed or someone needs help with their bags. It’s a lot of work dealing with the public all day, but you meet a lot of interesting characters at a bus stand. We don't have a brochure or a big corporate office anywhere else. It's just a local spot where you can get a ticket and some directions. I try to keep things simple and honest. If a bus is going to be bumpy or old, I’ll say so. That’s just how we do things here in Navlakha. We aren't trying to be anything fancy.
