Carewell Security Services is based out of Plot No. M-7, 12/2 on Rabindranath Tagore Road. We are inside the Chetak Centre, which is a building most people around here know well. It’s a busy spot, and sometimes finding a place to park your scooter is the hardest part of the day. We have been providing guards for the buildings and offices in this neighborhood for quite a few years now. The office we have isn't anything special. It’s just a room with a few chairs and a large table where we do the shift rotations. I started this business because I wanted to work for myself after years of being a supervisor for a bigger firm. We don't use any fancy software to track our staff; we just use a big paper ledger and a lot of phone calls. The Chetak Centre is an older building, so the walls are a bit thin and you can hear the street noise all day long. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy ads for us. Most of our clients are people who have known us for a long time. If a guard is sick or can't make it, I often have to put on the uniform and go out there myself. It’s a practical way to run things, and it keeps us honest. We just try to do a decent job every day.
