If you go to Dawa Bazar on M.Y. Road, you’ll find us on the first floor. The address is 362, in the 13-14 RNT Marg area. It’s a trading hub, so the whole building is always buzzing with people looking for various supplies. Our office is a bit of a mix between a storage room and a workspace. There are shelves everywhere, mostly filled with items we trade. It can get a little overwhelming when several shipments come in at the same time. We don't have a lot of space for people to sit down, so most of our business is done standing up or over the counter. The hallways outside are narrow and often blocked by people carrying heavy bags. We’ve been here long enough that we know the tea guy and the loaders by name. Sometimes the traffic on RNT Marg gets so bad that we can hear the horns even with the windows closed. It’s not a glamorous job, just moving goods from one place to another and keeping track of the numbers. My ledger is usually full of scribbles that only I can really understand. We just try to keep things moving. There isn't any big secret to what we do; we just show up every morning and get through the list of tasks for the day. It’s a practical way to make a living in a very busy city.
