Out here on A.B. Road, things move pretty fast. Our spot at the S.D.A. Annex in Lasudia Mori is right in the thick of it. Since we are in the Dewas Naka area, it’s mostly trucks and warehouses around us. Bhasin Packwell Pvt. Ltd. is where we spend our days surrounded by rolls of packaging material and boxes. It gets pretty dusty with all the traffic passing by on the main road, but we’re used to it by now. The warehouse floor is where most of the work happens. It’s a large space, and sometimes the echo of the tape machines is the only thing you hear for hours. We don’t have a big corporate office; it’s just a small partitioned area where the computer and the files sit. Most of our time is spent checking the machines or making sure the bundles are tied up right for the next shipment. The heat can get a bit much in the summer since the ceiling is high and the fans don't always reach every corner. We usually take our breaks sitting on some of the unsold stock near the back door where there’s a bit of a breeze. People come by asking for directions to other units in the S.D.A. Annex all the time because the numbering is a bit confusing. We just point them the right way and get back to packing. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do here in this part of the industrial district.
