People usually come into the shop here in Bhamnout when their phone screen is smashed or the battery just won't hold a charge anymore. It's a small place, nothing fancy, but we keep the doors open most days except for when something comes up at home. Mostly it is just me and some tools at the back desk. It gets a bit dusty with the road right there, so I spend a lot of time just wiping down the glass counters. We sell those plastic covers and screen protectors too. Some people come in just to ask how to use an app or why their internet isn't working right. I try to help them out even if they aren't buying anything new that day. It's been a few years now since I started this. The heat in the afternoon can be a bit much, but the fan helps. I've seen all kinds of phones come through here, some so old I don't even know where to find parts for them anymore. I tell folks straight if I can't fix it because there is no point in lying and making them wait. Sometimes the parts take a week to arrive from the city. We just keep going, taking one repair at a time. It’s a lot of sitting and looking at tiny screws, but it pays the bills and I know most of the people who walk through that door.
