Bapat Hospital

Bapat Hospital is located at 212 Khajuri Bazaar, right on Mahatma Gandhi Road. It is a very busy area because we are surrounded by the Sarrafa Bazaar and the Maharaja Tukoji Rao Holker Cloth Market. If you know this part of town, you know it is always crowded with people buying jewelry and clothes. Our hospital sits right in the middle of all that chaos. The building is older, and you can tell by the way the hallways are laid out. We have been here for a long time, and the walls have been painted more times than I can count. Because we are on MG Road, there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the vendors calling out and the horns of the cars all day long. Inside, we have different wards and a small emergency area. It isn't a luxury hospital by any means. It’s a place where people from the markets come when they aren't feeling well. We have a lot of metal beds and simple wooden benches for the families to sit on. The staff is used to the fast pace of the bazaar outside. We spend a lot of time managing the crowds that come in from the street. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running at full speed. It’s just a hardworking hospital in a very busy part of the city, doing what needs to be done.
