Balaji Lighting Industries

Balaji Lighting Industries is located over in the Agrawal Compound, which is part of the Sukhliya Industrial Area on Sanwer Road. If you know the Khatipura side of things, you’ve probably passed by us. Our place is at 407/1. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s always a bit dusty and there are trucks moving in and out of the compound all day long. We deal with lighting stuff, mostly making sure things are put together right. The building isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a standard industrial unit with high ceilings and some cooling fans that never seem to move quite fast enough in the summer heat. Inside, we’ve got benches set up where the work happens. It’s usually pretty quiet except for the sound of parts being moved around or the occasional radio playing in the background. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The neighbors in the compound are mostly other small workshops and factories, so we all kind of know each other. Sometimes we share a tea in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. We don’t have a flashy showroom or a receptionist. If someone needs something, they usually just come to the side door and ask for us. It’s just a practical way to run things. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the crates are loaded up on time and the work gets finished.
