Asian Stones

Asian Stones is located up on Level 3 of the building at 7/1 in Ushaganj. It is right in the Chhawani area, which stays pretty busy most of the week. Getting up to the third floor can be a bit of a workout if you aren't used to it, but we have been here for a while and don't mind the stairs anymore. Inside, you will find piles of stone samples and catalogs scattered across the desks. We try to keep things organized, but when you are dealing with heavy materials like these, a bit of clutter is bound to happen. The windows look out over the street, and we can see the traffic moving below while we talk to customers about their home projects. It is a simple setup with a few chairs for visitors and a large table where we spread out the drawings. Most people who come to see us are locals looking for something specific for their kitchens or floors. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights, just the actual stone pieces so you can see what they really look like in person. It gets a bit noisy from the street noise below, especially in the afternoons, but we are used to the rhythm of Chhawani by now. We just do our work, drink our coffee, and help people figure out what kind of stone they need without making a big fuss about things. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but the stone looks good.
