Ashok & Company

Our place is at 984 Sudama Nagar Main Road. It’s a long road and we’re right in the middle of it. Sudama Nagar is a huge place in Indore, and being on the main road means we see everything that happens. We open up the shutters early in the morning. It’s usually just a few of us here. The shop is filled with whatever we’re working on that week. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the name on the front. People stop by on their way home from work to ask questions or check on their orders. It’s a very local vibe. We know the guy who sells tea down the street and the family that runs the grocery store next door. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of all the traffic on the main road, so we’re always wiping down the counters. We’ve been in this same spot for years. The building is getting a bit old, but it works for what we need. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or big ads. Word of mouth is how most people hear about Ashok & Company. It’s a lot of routine work, but we don’t mind. We just focus on what’s in front of us. If it’s raining, the water sometimes splashes into the front of the shop, but we just move things back and keep going. It’s just a normal business run by normal people who know the neighborhood.
