Our place is at Plot No-263 in the New Aloo Pyaz Mandi, just off A.B. Road. Being located in a mandi means it is always noisy and there is a lot of dust from the trucks and the produce. We have been working from this plot since the market was first set up. We don't have a fancy office or even a proper sign sometimes. It is mostly just us in the middle of all the bags of potatoes and onions. It is a busy, gritty place to work, but we like the energy of the market. A.B. Road is a main path, so there is always movement nearby. We do all our business directly from this plot. It involves a lot of lifting and talking to drivers. We don't really do any advertising or marketing. Most people find us because they know we are always here at Plot 263. We talk to the farmers and other traders every day over tea. It is a very simple way of living and working. We don't have a big management structure or corporate rules. It is just a few of us making sure the orders are filled and the trucks are loaded. Sometimes the rain makes the mandi floor a bit of a mess, but we just put on our boots and keep going. We are just a local enterprise trying to do a good job.
