Our place is located at No. 6 Mangal Marg, which is right in the Gandhi Nagar area near the airport. Being so close to the airport means we hear planes taking off all day long, which is something you just get used to. The warehouse space is where we keep most of our stock, and it can get pretty hot in there during the summer months. We deal with a lot of different goods, and there’s always something being loaded or unloaded at the gate. Mangal Marg is a decent road, but it gets cramped when the delivery trucks are all trying to move at once. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the boxes are going to the right spots. It’s a lot of physical work, and my boots are usually pretty worn out from walking the floor. We don’t have a fancy office, just a small desk and a couple of chairs tucked away near the front. People from the neighborhood often walk by on their way to the market. We’ve been trading from this spot for a good while, and we know the routine of the area like the back of our hands. It’s a straightforward business without any bells and whistles. We just show up, handle the inventory, and make sure things get where they need to go before we close up for the evening.
