Malhotra Bag House

We are over at No. 2 Ada Bazar, up on the first floor. It is very close to Rajwada, which is a place everyone knows around here. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs to find Malhotra Bag House, but once they get here, they see we have quite a lot of space filled with bags. We have all sorts of bags piled up, from small ones to big luggage pieces. The stairs are a bit narrow and can be a bit of a climb if you are carrying something heavy. Ada Bazar is always humming with activity and the sound of the streets reaches us even on the upper floor. It’s not a fancy showroom with glass cases or anything like that. It’s more of a practical warehouse style where things are stored where they fit. We spend a lot of our time organizing the stock and talking to people who come up the stairs. The area near Rajwada is always busy with shoppers and tourists, so there is never a dull moment. Sometimes the light in the shop isn't the best, but we know where everything is kept. We’ve been running this bag business for a long time and the routine is pretty much the same every day. We open the locks, check the inventory, and wait for the first customer of the morning. It’s a simple way to make a living and it keeps us occupied.
