Macretina Hospital

You can find us at 212, Shekhar Central, which is right by Palasia Square. It’s a very central location, so it’s usually pretty loud with all the traffic and people moving around outside. We’ve been here at Macretina Hospital for quite some time now. The building is one of those big ones where you’re always bumping into someone you know in the elevator. Our floor is usually busy with people coming in for their appointments. It isn't a fancy, over-designed place; it’s just a hospital where we focus on eyes. We don't bother with marketing talk or trying to sound like a giant corporation. Most of us who work here are just regular folks from around the area. We know how to handle the equipment and how to talk to a nervous patient, and that’s about it. Palasia Square is a landmark for most people, so it makes it easy to give directions over the phone. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit full and we have to bring in extra chairs, but we try to keep things organized. We spend our days checking charts and making sure everyone gets seen. It’s a steady pace of work. We’ve got a good routine going, and we like being in the heart of the city where everything is happening. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one person at a time.
