A To Z Kirana Bazar & General Stores is right in the middle of the Maharaja Tukoji Rao Holker Cloth Market. Being on Bharath Marg, specifically in the Naliya Bhakal area, means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside. This is a traditional kirana store where we handle a lot of wholesale and retail goods. We have big bags of grains sitting on the floor and shelves reaching up to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the stock we keep. Being in Itwaria Bazaar, we see a lot of different people every day. Some are regular shoppers from nearby, others are just passing through the market. The air smells like a mix of spices and old wood. We don't have any fancy displays. The products are mostly in their original sacks or stacked in rows. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything, especially when the market gets really crowded on weekends. We spend most of the day weighing items and packing them into brown paper bags or plastic pouches. It’s a bit old-school, but that’s how things work in this part of town. We don't use much technology besides a basic calculator. It's a busy life here in the heart of the cloth market, but we’ve gotten used to the pace and the constant chatter of the customers. There is never a dull moment.
