Rnr Hardware

Rnr Hardware is located right near Tampha Market in Thangal Bazar. If you’ve ever been to the bazar, you know how it gets. It’s a sea of people and stalls, and it can be quite a scramble to get through the crowd sometimes. We are right in the thick of it. The shop is filled with all sorts of bits and pieces, probably more than we have room for, but we manage. My hands are usually a bit dirty from moving stock around, but that’s just part of the job. We don't use any fancy computer systems to track every single thing. We mostly just know where everything is by looking. Thangal Bazar is a place where everyone knows everyone else. We’ve been here long enough that we’re part of the furniture now. People drop in not just to buy things but sometimes just to say hello or ask for advice on a project they’re working on. We don't give long speeches about our values or anything. We just sell hardware and help out when we can. The building is older, and the shelves are a bit crooked, but it works for us. It’s a real place with real people working there. We open the doors early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. It’s a busy life, but it’s a good one, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
