Kingfisher Airlines

Working out of the Imphal Airport in Manipur for Kingfisher Airlines is definitely an interesting experience. Our address is right there at the airport, zip code 795140. Being at the airport means our schedules are tied to the flights coming and going. Sometimes it is very quiet, and other times it is completely hectic with people rushing around. We don’t have a fancy office building, just our space within the airport grounds. The view out the window is mostly the runway and the hills in the distance, which can be quite pretty when the weather is clear. We deal with a lot of baggage issues and ticket questions. It is a lot of standing and talking to passengers who are often tired or in a hurry. We have a small break room where we sit for a few minutes when things calm down. It isn't a typical nine-to-five job since we are often here at odd hours. We’ve grown used to the sound of engines and the constant movement of people. It is a straightforward job, and we just try to get through the day and help out wherever we can on the ground here. It takes patience to deal with travel delays.
