Future Impact

If you head down Khongnang Makhong Road in the Angom Lawai area, you’ll find us near the Top Khongnangkhong Bridge. Future Impact has been operating from this little corner for a while. The bridge is the main thing people use to find where we are located. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main city, but we still have our fair share of work coming through the door. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a few tables where we get things done. We usually start the day early before the sun gets too hot. There is a lot of back and forth between us when we are trying to figure out a task. We don't use any fancy systems, just our hands and some old-fashioned effort. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. That’s just part of living and working around here. We have a small radio that plays in the background, mostly just to keep some noise going while we focus. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s humid out. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the name Future Impact on the front. People who live around Angom Lawai know us by now. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every single day of the week. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
