First Cry Store

Our store is situated in Chingmeirong West, right near Gate No. 1 of the Manipur Legislative Assembly. It’s part of the Capital Project area in Imphal East, so there’s always something going on nearby. It’s a busy location, and we see a lot of families coming through. The shop is full of everything from baby clothes to strollers and toys. It’s not always perfectly organized, especially on the weekends when it gets crowded. We spend a lot of time folding clothes that have been moved around. Our staff are just regular people from the local community who enjoy helping parents find what they need. We don't have a big corporate feel here. It’s more of a local shop where we know which diapers are in stock and which ones are late. The storage room is a bit of a squeeze, and we’re always moving boxes to make space for new arrivals. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to manage with flashlights, but that’s just life in Imphal. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just show people where the items are and help them carry things to their cars if they need a hand. It’s a practical place for practical needs. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and we’ve seen a lot of kids grow up. It’s just a normal day-to-day business that keeps us quite busy.
