Yaiphare Sundar Chand Nidhi Limited

Our office for Yaiphare Sundar Chand Nidhi Limited is located in Chongtham Leikai, over in the Chinga Mathak Singjamei area. It’s a well-known part of Imphal West, and we are right in the thick of it. We started this because we wanted a local place where we could help each other with small financial bits. We aren't some big bank from the mainland. We are just people from the Leikai who know how hard it can be to save up. The office is a simple one, with a couple of chairs for visitors and some desks where we keep the paperwork. It’s usually pretty quiet inside, except when the local kids are playing outside or a truck goes by. We spend our time counting the deposits and helping folks figure out their loan payments. There isn't any polished marketing here, just us doing the work. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to scratch things out and start again, but the math always ends up right. We are honest about what we do. We help members save and we lend out what we can. It’s a very old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. If you live around Singjamei, you probably already know where we are. We don't need a lot of fuss to get the job done. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in to do their business for the day.
