Varcal Agrotech Private Limited is our small company. We are located in East Imphal, specifically in Porompat. You can find us at Wangkhei Lourembam Leirak, care of Calvin Shadokpam. Our pin code is 795005. We spend our time here doing something in the agrotech space that is local and real. We don’t have a huge team or a big glass building. It’s just a regular setup in a regular neighborhood. We spend our days dealing with the technical side of agriculture and trying to see how we can make things work better for people. It’s a lot of trial and error. We aren’t experts in everything, but we know our community and we know the land here in Porompat. The name Varcal Agrotech is what we put on our papers, but to the people around here, we’re just the folks at Calvin’s place. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone. The work is what it is. Some days it’s just answering the phone and other days it’s out in the field seeing how things are growing. We keep our overhead low and our focus on the practical tasks at hand. That’s just how we operate in East Imphal. We try to keep it honest. There's plenty to do every day around the leirak and we just get on with it and hope for the best. It works for us.
