We are based in Sagolband Tera Loukrakpam Leikai. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say if you aren't from around here. We deal with import and export stuff, mostly focusing on the Asia Pacific side of things. It sounds more complicated than it is. Mostly, it's just keeping track of shipments and making sure the paperwork for the customs is handled properly. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It's just a place where we sit and make calls or send emails all day. Being in Imphal means we have our own way of doing things. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we manage to get the work done. We handle all sorts of goods, whatever needs moving across the borders. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice for getting through the mountain of logs we have. We’ve got a small staff and we’ve been working together for quite some time now. There’s no big hierarchy here. If something needs to be moved or a box needs taping, whoever is free does it. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we know how to get things from one place to another. It's steady work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just keep our heads down and do the job as best as we can. It's a living.
