Ruban Nidhi Limited

Ruban Nidhi Limited is based out of Taobungkhok, specifically in the Makha Leikai area of Imphal West. We are located at the house of Thiyam Manirashi. It is a quiet residential part of town, which makes it nice for sitting down and doing business without all the noise of the main city center. We started this fund because the people in this neighborhood needed a closer place to manage their money. It isn't a massive building with glass walls. It's more of a local office where you can come in and talk to someone you actually know. We handle the usual things like member deposits and small loans that help people get through the month or fix up their homes. Our records are kept in the back, and we spend a lot of our morning catching up on the paperwork. Sometimes neighbors stop by just to say hello or ask about their account balance. We don't have any glossy brochures. We just explain how the fund works in plain Meiteilon or English. It is a small operation, and we like it that way because it stays manageable. The address can be a bit tricky for outsiders to find with the IED labels, but for the locals in Taobungkhok, we are right there in the heart of the community. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day to help everyone stay on track.
