Lamjingba Dairy Private Limited

Our dairy business is located over on Rims Road in Nagamapal. We share a space with Kongkham Bungbung Singh, right near the Nityainanda Mandir. It’s a very busy part of West Imphal, and you can always hear the sounds from the temple and the street. Working with dairy means our days start very early. We have to be up before the sun to make sure the milk is fresh and ready for distribution. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy containers and making sure everything is kept at the right temperature. If the power goes out, we all start worrying. It’s not a fancy corporate setup at all. We just have our basic equipment and a small office space where we keep the records. Sometimes the floors are wet and the air smells like fresh milk, which I’ve grown to like. We have a few people who help with the deliveries and the processing. It’s a small, tight-knit group. We don't spend money on big advertisements or fancy packaging. We just focus on what we’re doing every day. Some days the cows are stubborn or the truck breaks down, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. It’s a tough way to make a living, but it’s honest work. We are just local people trying to provide a basic necessity to our neighbors in Manipur. It keeps us busy and we don't have much time for anything else.
