Koireng and Sons is a family-run thing based over in Haobam Marak. We are specifically located at Ngangom Leikai. It’s a residential sort of area, so it feels more like a community business than a big corporate entity. The address is 23-B-24/11, if you’re looking at the local maps. We handle both imports and exports, which keeps us pretty busy most days of the week. Since it’s a family business, there’s usually a few of us around the office debating about where a shipment is or who needs to call which driver. We don’t have a fancy front desk or a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will be there at a desk covered in papers. We deal with moving products across the borders and into the local market. It’s a lot of practical stuff, like checking container sizes and making sure the customs papers are signed. Haobam Marak is a good place to be, it’s got a nice feel to it. We’ve been doing this for a while and we know the ins and outs of the trade fairly well. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to make sure the imports arrive and the exports leave when they are supposed to.
